Introducing a major new personal project, The Woodland Dwellers. The body of work depicts the existence of David Pike, a man who opted out of conventional society to live a life off grid. The work forms Alex's latest book and will be exhibited at the world famous Arles Photography Festival in France.
The latest print campaign for the HM Government's Apprenticeships scheme. Alex travelled the British Isles photographing real apprentices in their places of work. The images are currently appearing across all print media.
We are thrilled to launch a beautiful campaign for the Irish Wind Energy Association (IWEA) We worked closely with Rothco in Dublin to create a three minute Film and Print Campaign. The Film, which contains a rousing speech by the late American President JFK, can be viewed on the Director's page.
It has been a productive year for personal projects and this is the latest which concentrates on The Berber people of Morocco in North Africa. Alex shot in The Souks in Marrakech and then travelled to The High Atlas Mountains to complete the project.
Alex shot the latest key art for the new ITV drama, Jekyll & Hyde, which airs in October. The image was created on location at Three Mills in London's East End. The cast include Richard E Grant, Natalie Gumede, Tom Bateman and Donald Sumpter.
Alex shot an epic photographic commission on behalf of Clouston Group for their hotel Crowne Plaza in Newcastle, in the historical Stephenson Quarter. The finished installation is now in place at the hotel. The project has just been awarded a winner in catagory at The AOP Awards 2015.
During the summer Alex undertook a major personal project in Tokyo & Vietnam. From the colourful envionment of Tokyo to the energy of Saigon, this extensive photographic essay covers much ground in presenting the people and the places. The entire project was shot on the Leica M240.

Alex recently shot the latest Three Mobile Outdoor Campaign announcing its sponsorship of the Irish Rugby Team. Irish Legend Paul O'Connell, Jonny Sexton & Robbie Henshaw were featured in this dramatic campaign.
Introducing the launch photography for British Fashion Designer, Nigel Cabourn's Autumn Winter 2013 collection. The shoot showcased new designs as well as vintage pieces from Nigel's own extensive collection.
A Personal Photographic Project depicting the derelict and disused St Mary's Lunatic Asylum. The images show the former asylum in warm sunlight which is very much at odds with it's dark history. The works are soon to be published in a monograph with a foreword by the author David Almond.
A collection of images which depict real life sufferers of a condition known as Neuropathic Pain. The people were brought together from across the world to be photographed and share their own unique stories. Still life shots accompanied their portraits to highlight their own notion of pain.
A Substantial Personal Project. The work captures the people and surroundings of the island of Maafushi in the South Male Attol, Maldives.
Maafushi was seriously affected by the Tsunami and it served as a reminder of the great fragility that the Island faces.
An extensive personal project documenting the life and times of Travelling folk who attend the largest and most notorious Gypsy gathering in Europe, The Appleby Horse Fair. The project was subsequently commissioned and published by The Sunday Times Magazine.
